About Us
Two sisters, Hyanghee and Shinhee started San Maru in the early-Spring of 2016 with a vision to serve the Chambana community delicious, healthy, and authentic Korean cuisine.
The Yoon sisters' love and dedication to authentic Korean cuisine were passed down by their grandmother, San Oh, whose culinary skills earned her invitations from the Royal Palace of the late Chosun Dynasty. These techniques were passed down to her daughter, Ja Young, and then to Hyanghee and Shinhee.
San Maru’s mission is to continue serving traditional Korean dishes in a family-friendly setting, where everyone can enjoy sharing the cuisine in the same way the family had through generations.
